Structure

The Centre currently has five staff, including an executive director, three advocates, and an intake worker. In addition, the Centre generally provides placements for students from the University of Manitoba’s School of Social Work and Labour Studies programs. The Centre is governed by a twelve member Board of Directors.  Eight of the directors are elected at large, three are appointed by central labour bodies, and one is a representative of the CUHC staff.

Funding

The agency receives funding provided by United Way of Winnipeg, Province of Manitoba and the Manitoba Law Foundation.   CUHC also has a partnership agreement with the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development.  This funding is complemented by donations from Unions, central labour bodies and individuals.

The CUHC is a registered charity and income tax receipts are issued for all donations. Should you wish to make a donation, please see the contact information.
